학과 소개내용

Biomedical laboratory sciences contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of disease through the testing of patients and specimens. It is an extremely comprehensive and diverse field of learning that includes diagnostics and testing, pathological testing, and physiological testing.

Students will be introduced to the latest medical knowledge and techniques relevant in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, while receiving practical training in some of Korea’s largest and best-equipped clinical physiology and histopathology laboratories, to develop skills in applying the latest testing techniques to the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Graduates can expect to find work as biomedical laboratory professionals. Kyungdong University is aiming to achieve a national exam pass rate, graduate employment rate, and a graduate school advancement rate of 100% for its biomedical laboratory sciences students.
